Development workers can offer telephone contact, signpost to other agencies and resources, offer accessible information links and clarify information. Collective self-advocacy will continue but only by telephone or through digital contact for the time being.
We have development workers in the 6 local authority areas listed. We also have a small number of National development workers who are also available for contact by telephone and email. The organisation is the National Disabled Peoples Organisation for Learning Disability. People First Scotland is developing and sharing accessible information and workers are there to link people to other resources or to offer emotional support or information by telephone or email.
